Las Colinas Golf & Country Club
The best course in the area. From a vast area that oozes high standard. From a driving range with Toptracer technology and a shortgame area by Miguel Ángel Jimenez to great turf on tees, fairways and greens.
The holes are as pleasing to eye as they are fun to play. A lot of holes ask the question, How brave are you?
Las Ramblas Golf
A spectacular golf course with fabulous views. A very hilly golf course with the fairways lined a trees (usually on both sides). Strategy is crusial and knowing when to take risks pays off. The course is quite short and there is always a good sized landing area but if you want to challange the hole you need to hit it straight as well as far.
Don’t be surprised to find trees in the middle of the fairway, the designer Pepe Gancedo liked to use trees as features on his golf courses. I had the pleasure to spend two days at work with him and learned a lot. You may need to play his courses a couple of times to understand them, as with Las Ramblas, but you will never get bored.
Come play this interesting lay out and leave with a smile.
Roda Golf & Beach Resort
Roda Golf is a nice and very friendly golf club near San Javier. Head professional Paul Carpenter and his team will help you with all your needs.
The golf course is an easy walk and a pleasure to play. The first four holes will require full attention as well as the island green par 3 7th. The course finishes with a great par 5 across a green side water hazard.
Having played the 18th it is recomended to sit in the sun in the restaurant for food, drinks and friendly chat with your playing partners.
This is a course you want to play again.
Lo Romero Golf
Lo Romero is a really nice course located in a hilly landscape. Wide fairways invite you to hit the driver off the tee and the course's obstacles are clearly visible. Not least around the 18th green, which is an island-green. The course is of medium length and has a mixture of some long holes and several short holes that give you good chances for par or even birdies. My favorite hole is the eighteenth which is not far but hitting the second shot towards an island green always tickles a little extra.
For those who do not wish to hit the slopes, there are plenty of golf carts to rent. Beautiful views and a well-maintained course make this a course you'll love to come back to.
